Wealth Management

When you hire Atlantic Wealth Management Group we want you to experience the profound lift of our holistic wealth management service. With this, we start by developing a customized financial plan, which answers questions such as:

  • Can I afford to retire earlier?
  • Are there creative ways to pay less in taxes?
  • When should I apply for social security?
  • How can I leave a legacy for my children and grandchildren?

This process provides a snapshot of your current financial situation. It also gives a visual of your total cash-flow and how we expect it to evolve throughout retirement. Specifically, we will model your social security income, pension and annuity income, along with distributions from qualified and non-qualified investment accounts to show how they might support your lifestyle.

For advisory clients, we act as a fiduciary.

This means we are legally bound to put our clients' best interest ahead of our own.

Through this relationship, you receive the following services:

  • Investment Selection and Trading
  • Ongoing Risk Management
  • Commission Free Trades
  • Tax-Loss Harvesting
  • Reviews and Consultations

Fee-based asset management allows us to share a common goal:

We seek to grow the value of your assets.

It also ties our compensation directly to the performance of your account.

For advisory accounts, we charge an annual fee based on the amount of assets we are directly managing for them.

Our annual fees are priced on a tiered schedule. In other words, as your assets grow your effective advisory fee automatically decreases:

Managed Assets

Annual Fee

First $250,000

$250,000 - 1,000,000

0.75%

$1,000,000.0 – 5,000,000

Importantly, the development and ongoing maintenance of your financial plan is included in the schedule above. Unlike many other advisors, we don't charge our wealth management clients separately for this planning service.

Stand-Alone Financial Planning

Some clients prefer to manage their own investments but will seek our help regarding other areas of their financial life. Therefore, we offer a stand-alone financial planning service that provides a detailed list of actionable recommendations about your investment strategy, estate planning strategies, retirement income, tax planning strategies, insurance, and debt management.

In simpler terms, the financial planning process is a year-long engagement that provides answers to questions like:

  • How much should I contribute to my 401k plan?
  • How do I protect my family if something happens to me?
  • How much should we be saving for education expenses?
  • Can I afford to retire earlier?
  • How can we lower our tax liability?

Our financial planning fees are as follows:

Importantly, you will never receive a surprise invoice and we won't charge for the initial consultation! Instead, we want to understand exactly what you're seeking (and how we can help) before you pay us a single dollar.

Before engaging in any formal planning relationship, we will review the scope of work and estimated costs. Furthermore, these details will be sent for your review and signature in the form of a financial planning agreement. Until then, you are never "on the clock" and won't get a bill from us!

At the conclusion of the financial planning engagement, you can implement the recommendations yourself, or you can leverage our wealth management services, where we could act as a fiduciary, in an advisory relationship, managing your investments.

For clients that enjoy managing their own investments but value our advice regarding other aspects of their financial life, we could continue the stand-alone planning relationship with an annual retainer, billed monthly.

Lastly, if at any point during the engagement you'd prefer to have us manage your accounts through an advisory relationship (see above), we will consider waiving your outstanding financial planning fees.
